Hi,

I know a lot of people here struggle with trust. Here is a great talk by Brene Brown that explains trust:

It is a topic I am working on myself. A lot of people in my life had to go because they were not trustworthy. This talk explains a lot. There is also a book called "Safe People" and accompanying workbook that is also great for identifying safe people. It is a bit Christian/Bible oriented but has great advices and guidelines even for non christians.

B.R.A.V.I.N.G....what a great acronym for her message. Thanks for sharing the video.

And I second the book Safe People...one of the best books I read last year (and I read dozens of books last year, lol). The challenge, for me, is finding people around me who are actually that safe. Those of us here have ptsd-related issues, but non-ptsd people, in general, still tend to have a lot of dysfunction and other issues, too. They just don't see it clearly enough to even begin to address it. So maybe their issues aren't as severe, but they're not working on those issues, either. Makes them rather unsafe...
