Apology

I would like to start with an apology to @anthony, @Cashew, @digger, @Poofycat, @EveHarrington and everyone else who I have offended with my posting.

I am utterly disgusted at what I posted, and it makes me feel like puking. I do not fully understand what is happening with my currently, and it makes no sense. I do not see what I posted as acceptable, not by anyone on here, nor by my own concious self. So, simply said. I do not agree with what I wrote. I don't know why the heck I wrote that. I will take responsibility for the stuff I wrote, and I hope to better my relations with the members I have offended. I don't want this to happen again, and I want to figure out how to have it not happen. I'm sorry for what I did. Unfortunately, I can't promise that awful stuff won't happen every now and then, months or years apart.

Thank you everyone for all the support I was given, and the understanding coming from all directions. I wish to be able to reciprocate it with time, and I hope to stabilize a bit.

I'm sorry for the stuff you get to deal with because of me.

I really wish humans had a better understanding of disabled people of all types. It doesn't matter what type weather it Mental Health, Downs Syndrome, their are hundreds of different types I could write here. Why do people think it is ok to post on U Tube or other places on the Internet for other people to make fun of. It is one thing to post something funny, but to post other people's lives that they have to live everyday in a body that doesn't work properly or isn't "Normal " ( what is Normal ? ) and have to endure so much, every day is such a struggle in many cases. I think that we have lost our way as a society and feel it is so sad that we have got to this stage that many people have lost respect of what it is like to be different.

If someone could spend a day in a body of anyone with a disability, I think they would feel totally different.

@Saelben we all make mistakes in life, it's more about learning from that mistake and changing for the better and learning from it that counts. If we didn't make mistakes we wouldn't learn. I learn the most from the mistakes I make, and I sure do make some big mistakes and say the most silly things and I'm a lot older than 15.

Just so you know (and for when you read)- I still say dumb stuff and I am waaaaay past 15. HOWEVER you stepped up to the plate, man that you are and offered a humble apology. Bravo honey!

:hug: You have more on your shoulders than anyone should have to bear, let alone at your age. Trust me I think everyone here understands that, plus we have an advantage in the fact that we were all your age once and remember doing things we regretted that can only be explained by momentary bouts of teenage insanity.

People still make mistakes at age 95. What's important is that you recognize where things went wrong and you have a desire to change.

Maybe it's an unknown bias? Something that got flip turned upside down and came out as it did (for whatever reason). It's good that you're reflecting on your actions.

I'm twice your age and still realizing I have unresolved issues and biases just below the surface. I discovered one just a few days ago. I was a bit shocked to find out I was carrying it around with me. The important thing is that I'm aware of it and working to fix it. I'm not saying it's the same for you, but I think that when we consciously/subconsciously put down a group of people, there's some sort of issue we need to work through. (And it may not even be that we are indeed biased, rather bias is how our frustrations/feelings are expressed.)

Maybe this is a bit confusing. Sorry, as it's very late/early. Lol.

Yes... And the thing sorta felt like not me... I read up a bit and seems that anti-depressants can have some personality effects on people

I guess everyone does, but I am used to the presence of older people who don't make much of such mistakes, so I find it hard to accept myself

I am not sure why I can't agree with myself not being a perfect person that doesn't make mistakes... I find it hard to accept
