Sorry I've been posting so much on this threat lately. This is the last one I promise
To sum it up quickly... The nonprofit my therapist worked for closed their outpatient program suddenly. My therapist was laid-off/fired. I'd really like to see her again. All the contact info I had for her is from the nonprofit, so I can't contact her. I do however know that she has a Facebook. Do you guys think it would be a violation of boundaries to contact her on Facebook if its the only way I can do so? What if I said something like...
"I know it's not really appropriate to message you here, but I'd like to continue seeing you, can you let me know if it's possible to schedule a session, either privately or at your next workplace. Otherwise, is there an address or PO box to which I could send a card?"
Do you guys think this would be upsetting for her? Would it work me up too much waiting for an answer? Sometimes people you're not friends with don't even get your messages on Facebook. Help!
