I use ready made blends that come in a roller ball applicator.

You roll them on your pulse points. But they are ideal for carrying in your purse, and not messy if you want to apply them when you're out.

The company that makes them uses good quality oils too.

I don't think I'm allowed to mention commercial brand names, but I will pm you some more information if you'd like.

I find my oils at a organic grocery store I go too. The store is called Whole Foods.

I bought jasmine oil a few days ago. It is wonderful! So wonderful smelling and grounding. It makes me feel carefree. All worries are gone.

Lavender and lemon is a good combination to for me. Also good for getting odors out of the air.

My next oils I want to buy: Sandalwood and rose.

Hi Ayesha

Eucalyptus is well known for its decongestant properties, used in the steam method. You know the one with a bowl of hot water, a few drops of oil and a towel over your head while, you inhale the steam.

Is also good for use as a massage oil on rheumatic joints. It has warming properties, which is why it helps here.

It can help to stimulate the immune system and reduce a fever.

There are many things it can be used for, as you will find many of the oils have varied uses. But nothing specific to PTSD

Cinnamon bark is best avoided in aromatherapy at all, as it is a skin irritant.

The leaf is what is used in most oils, but is not used very often in aromatherapy, but is excellent in burners, to help ward off colds, flu and any other airborne infections.

It is also good for use as an uplifting oil, again used in a burner.

Never use on sensitive skin, and in very mild doses in a bath. No more than one or two drop, and no more than one percent if used in a massage oil. Locally massaged into the stomach area if you have digestive problems, but sparingly.

Psychologically it is reviving and uplifting. it can help lift depression, with the feeling of lethargy and the lack of vitality.

I personally would buy the Cinnamon incense sticks and burn them, though make sure they are good quality.

It is very minimal Ayesha, as it disperses so quickly around the room and all you can smell is the incense.

That is one good reason to buy the better quality ones. Be careful if you buy Temple grade ones though, as they are powerful.

I burn them all the time and have no problem with the smoke.

I bought Ylang Ylang iii oil today. When I picked it up to smell it in the store I was surprised at the smell. I was looking for some thing sweet and sensual. And this was it. It's not rose and I am glad about that. I wanted something different and I found it.

Pleased...:)
