Are there euphemisms in your country/region for menstruation? Ones I can think of:
Being on the rag
Visiting Aunt Flo (old)

I hear a lot of women say “in my moon time” now as a sort of nice way to say it.
I can remember as a kid one teacher said to the other they couldn't be on swim duty as 'they had the painters and decorators in'. I could not for the life of me work out why painting your hallway meant you couldn't go swimming...

Didn't click until many years later when I heard it again as a teen!

On the rag.
Auntie Flo.
Time of the month.
Benched.
It’s a Chocolate, red wine, & steak week.
It’s a salt & sugar week.
It’s a potato chips & ice cream week.
I’m PMS’ing (not really, but instantly understood, like a vagina is the canal not the vulva, but still used to mean the vulva).
I’m iron deficient (this week).
Feeling a bit anemic.

I learned that “coup de foudre” means “thunderbolt” and “love at first sight” in French, according to Google Translate. So something like love struck? Can French speakers confirm?
