Alright fellas, let's take a step back here.
First the weapon caliber-stopping power discussion is a never ending and deeply personal. All of the 'scientific' studies are flawed in pretty significant ways and our personal experiences are just that-personal experiences.
Second, this thread was started by Tim to discuss him deciding if he should let go of his beloved Beretta 96. (BTW Tim I think you should keep it!)
Third, as we are all aware a major symptom of PTSD is anger. I think that arguing over caliber and stopping power is a surefire way to induce anger in any or all of us.
Finally, remember one of the rules of this Forum "treat people with respect, courtesy and in an adult manner."
