I'm so sick of getting shat on every time I try to get on the right "path." I want to believe that there are good honest people out there. It seems like there's less and less. Honesty is so important to me and so is doing the right thing. But I will never change who I am. I'm honest, I'm from the east coast, I'm a lil rough around the edges, but hey, when life chucks alot of lemons at you you DON'T have to make frickin lemonade.Throw em back! I am an artist, I am smart, and I am worthy.

And above all, I know I AM a good person. And I do the right thing.

Honesty is a HUGE issue with me as well. It's very difficult for me absorb the reality that some people just seem okay with their "version" of reality. It can flipped me out to tell you the truth, so I hear you loud and clear.

I'm glad you know who and what you are. That is vital to recovery and maintaining our sense of selves, in my opinion. :tup:

I couldn't help but come and read this thread, because just the title got a ping of emotion out of me. I think the word 'good' has got messed up in our society.

The idea that good is cleaner, usually means people washing their hands of the parts of reality that they don't like.

I like people to be honest with me, I can't see that its such a difficult thing to do.
