My Dad does that too. Maybe it's a guy thing. My mother is a fan of going on vacation, she arranges the price, the flight, the travel agent, hotel, and so we're always going on trips. ALWAYS my brother and I will fight at the airport, at the conveyor belt going through security about which stuff to carry, (I carry everything, the kid will carry nothing. >.<) and my Dad says "Guys, we paid a lot of money to take you on this vacation, so let's have a nice time and get this vacation over with." He says it in an annoyed tone too, like he's accusing my mother. It's soo funny. :D Seriously, my brother and I have just done it on the last three trips just to hear him say that.

I bought some perfume and makeup without telling the husband. Hopefully I get to the mail before him, or I will get a "Busted" text message.

I always hope, stuff arrives whilst H is at work and then I can squirrel it away. Either that or I have things delivered to the office.

We are open with our finances though, so even if I pay from my account, he usually sees the amount :rolleyes:. I guess after 32 years he doesn't mind and let's face it - I'm worth it :inlove:.

If it's your account (ie: your money), he really needs to get hands OFF. On the other hand, I know that a lot of you guys have been hammered by past abusers over money, so I know that all bets are off...

We class all money as ours, it does help we don't have a lot left once the monthly bills, mortgage is paid.

We have 2 accounts, my account and our joint account. I work on the wonderful principle that what's mine is mine and what's his is mine :roflmao::inlove::rolleyes:.

It is very open and works for us.

Sounds much like finances at our house!

I can rarely sneak anything by my husband, as he takes care of the finances and bill paying. I bought a Starbucks coffee the other day and that afternoon received a text saying "I wasn't aware Starbucks was in our budget this week?" with a smiley face.
