Curt, if you are a combat vet than I think you are not surprised at all by the responses, it was part of the military regardless, and you can now put it behind you and move forward knowing that you found the right place until this place decides it has found you. Obviously, not everyone will ever agree 100% on anything in here. We are a motley crew, as expected, as required!

I live near Washington, DC. Every manner of Deep REMFs with some actual combat types rotating through. It's ironic to watch locals giving the "Thank You For Your Service" to REMFs. The combat vets are usually in civvies, and coming and going from VA.

Just curious how your AFSC (aka Air Force MOS for us army/marine guys) changed from knowledge operational management specialist to a security forces member? Is it easy to change Ur AFSC in the air force? Just knew guys when I was in the army that took a while to change their MOS...

It isn't that easy to change AFSC's in the air force but you are able to be tagged to be an augmentee with say security forces, but I don't know how he would be able to be that title for his entire career.
