Thank you so much @joeylittle for this information and I think that the candidates should have independent doctors reveal the condition of their health for the voters to be able to consider. I am troubled by the fact that Trump refused to offer his health conditions. Just my opinion.

Maybe @Casey_03, honestly, other than the 3 news outlets, i dont know what is or isnt a crediable source of information when it comes to this election (never remember it being this hard to just get facts), but what i was getting when I googled was stuff i didnt recongize like http://www.redstate.com/streiff/2016/04/19/hillary-clintons-secret-health-issues-visible/ which ive never seen (many redstate sites) http://www.thepoliticalinsider.com/...out-hillary-rodham-clintons-health-bombshell/ which ive never seen and a ton of sites ive never seen before or ever heard of before and so "Washington Times" was something that sounded a bit more credable but honestly I found nothing from a known site that was credable and, for me, its incredablly hard to know whats propaganda and whats not

Actually, thats why im rather loving these threads and folks tend to back stuff up with facts and sites for those facts. Helps to weed through hundreds of sites thats all crap!

Thanks for letting me know! I'll add it to my list of crap sites lol.

50 GOP national security leaders have signed and published a letter in the NY Times expressing that Trump is dangerous for national security and would be a "reckless" president.

While it is a letter that is being reported by media that could be considered to be mildly biased against Trump, the people that actually wrote the letter are most likely to lean right and be biased in Trump's favor.

What is it like for those who are considering Trump? How does this kind of party rejection of Trump factor into your process? These are honest questions. I'm trying to understand your perspective better.

The letter is here: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/08/08/us/politics/national-security-letter-trump.html?_r=0 And here:

Well, the attempts by the GOP to rein in Trump didn't last 24 hours, as expected.

He gave a speech on economics that is a serious increase in taxes than his first set of economic policies prior to the nomination.

It looks nothing like a republican or conservative economic proposal. It's my opinion and analysis that it's more progressive than Hillary's plan and many GOP supporters of Trump are quietly a little worried about the sudden changes. No one in the GOP was calling for these changes. He basically increases federal taxes from 0 to 12 percent on the poorest of the poor. He increased them on every income bracket from his last proposal.

He's now making strange off prompter comments that are alarming too.

He was speaking at a rally and about the concern that Clinton would pick Supreme Court justices that are anything but conservative. This is a central issue for many who have recently decided to vote for Trump. It's scare tactic to some degree, and a legit concern. We need balanced judges. Not left or right leaning ones.

This is what Trump said:

“If [Clinton] gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks,” Trump said at a Wilmington, North Carolina, rally. “Although, the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

They publish both good and bad info about all candidates on the right, but they are not pro Clinton. The bias is something that can be ignored in this case because there is actual full footage of the rally and comments made by Trump on YouTube and many other sources - and that's the focus, what Trump himself said, not any analysis of it.)

My analysis and opinion: what the heck?

"The second amendment people"? Republicans don't talk like this.

Some Trump supporters do - they are a minority - and they speak of the power of the second admendment to defeat Hillary in a violence revolutionary sense. Trump FOLLOWS those people on Twitter.

When he starts talking about the second amendment as being a check and balance on Hillary Supreme Court justices... It doesn't matter what he actually means. I'm sure many will come forward and say he means this or that and it's really all ok and understandable just like folks have said all along.

That doesn't really matter so much anymore.

What matters is how the people he is leading take his words. After months of declaring the primary and now the general election is rigged against him, months of stating there could be violence if he loses, to now mention the second amendment in the context of what to do about unwanted Supreme Court Justices? It is reckless to do right now. He's pushing the public towards violence. Intentional or not, it makes him a frightening leader and he's helping Clinton win the election AND push the country into chaos.

He doesn't even have to be president to do damage at this point.

It's very short. They try to claim it's about the power of unification.

What he doesn't say, and is my opinion of what his message implies: GOP, unify and support me, or else.

If it really was about party unity, he could above said so many other things. He could have stuck with what he said and not said anything about "the second amendment people."

We can expect more people denouncing Trump in the coming days. Unification is occurring in another way: people against Trump.

My dad is a HUGE Trump supporter so I asked him about this and he said that these 50 are "assholes" and that they were mad because Trump were getting so many votes that caused Jeb Bush to drop out and are Rubio & Ted Cruise, Jeb Bush etc backers and were mad about the primaries.

I dont know how much BS this is, it is an opinion and not a fact but since you asked about why, after this, some are still fully for Trump, and no one replied, I thought Id post one Trunp supporter's opinion on it.

I think she was looking for something a little more substantial than "these guys are assholes". Lol. JMH has posted over and over and over again that she would like to see fact based replies.

Sitting back and not answering is always an option. I say this as your urges to reply seem a bit obsessive/compulsive and it's been a struggle of yours since you've joined, right?

No, not right.

Lets keep this on topic. JMH asked:

That did not state fact based only!

ETA: Its being played off as just 50 people being pissed that the remainder of the party dropped out.

It wouldn't surprise me if most trump shorter supporters react pretty much like your dad. You aren't going to get a lot of fact based reasons to blow that letter off. The only way to rebut it is to attack the people doing the writing. It's their opinion. There are reasons they are credible, so you attack their credibility. Trump usually does that by reverting to name calling. I wouldn't expect anything more from his followers.
