The one thing I will say to this is for evil to flourish the good need do anything. I will vote this year. I will not be voting for my first choice, or even my second choice. I will be voting against my never choice.

I will also be voting for the Supreme court choices, and the choices for our military.
I will not be voting for Hilary.

Each vote adds to the illusion/deception that there is an actual mandate for self imposed servitude to one or other of these [imo personality disordered] figureheads, and the vast bulk of the bureaucracy that never changes personnel or policy direction with elections.

There are one or two true believers in each of the candidates

I certainly wouldn't want to deny those few people the opportunity to choose to send a large chunk of their hard earned off to their chosen candidate, and in return to receive packs through the post telling them what they can and cannot do, what they can and can't buy, and from whom...

The basic laws of not aggressing against others, the basic logic of peaceful interactions of humans in even the most advanced of economic systems, don't require an election, or a government, they predate both institutions by thousands of years, they're not the stupid rules I'm referring to.

But, I don't think that stupid rules for the true believers to obey and to live their own lives by and the joy of sending off their hard earned, is what quite they're hoping for

is it?

They're more likely to be hoping to have those stupid and intrusive rules (all hundred metres or so of bookshelf space that they occupy) forced down the throats of their neighbours.

and they're hoping to get a share from the forced emptying of their neighbours purses and wallets.

Voting in that system only perpetuates the deception that it is legitimate and in any way right or just.

I am Mexican, we totally dislike Trump, of course, but I see a lot of you are struggling the same way we do with elections, our politicians are selfish, we have to vote for the 'less worse".


The problem is not the wall, if my country had politicians that actually cared for us, my fellows wouldn't have to go to the USA searching for better opportunities, bet everyday our situation is worse.

So yes, Mexico is so beautiful and warm, we have amazing people, we have amazing places, a big diversity and rich culture.

Mexico is not a big desert, where we all wear ponchos and big hats. You can find everything here, big cities, beautiful nature and also dangerous places.

Mexico is a very unfair place, where everyone is fighting for power, where a lot of innocent people dies, where the real criminals are free.

We only need better opportunities in our homeland. We are not criminals I assure you that, and we don't send our worst people, actually our worst people is the one that has the money and the power.

We don't want problems with anyone else, we have our own war here.

If you are voting Trump stop a little to think about us...

Sometimes, we (humans) hate each other for stupid reasons, here, inside my own country we attack each other mostly because our politic views instead of being empathic to the injustices others live, I think the rest of the World is just like that.

Thank you for your perspective, Swemoor. Yeah, I know enough to truly believe your worst criminals are entrenched in power at home. Totally sucks big time.

Personally, I think Trump is vile and I would never vote for him. Bravo for your president for telling him right off the bat that Mexico will never pay for the wall. I don't know enough to know how good of a president he is otherwise, but I was glad to see him stand up for you guys and put Trump in his place.

Thank you for your good wishes on our election. God willing, we and the world will be okay after this. But, arrgghh, we still have 48 days to go. And there are no guarantees that good sense will prevail.
