As this software is new, and there are decisions I made prior to unknown factors about bridges and such for content managers, I used Joomla as I know it. Well... I am looking into Wordpress now as the CMS platform that contain the articles, because it seems to be far more widely supported now compared to Joomla... both are free, but Wordpress has outgrown Joomla from a community viewpoint of finding modifications, bridges with other softwares, etc. A bridge is available already with xenforo, allowing users to comment on articles and such directly from the article, which is how I wanted it. There is a lot more, but I won't bore you with the details.
The forum is not affected, nor anything you currently do... but it will provide a single login solution for articles and forum sooner, rather than later. All I have to do is convert the articles over into Wordpress, and that's it... the style may change... not sure yet.
Added: I just looked for the style, and its not yet made for WP... so I may look at an alternative for this site. See what happens.
