Sufferer Courtney here: Anxiety, PTSD & ED

Hello everyone,

I’m Courtney, I’m 21 years old and I suffer with anxiety. I have been suffering with anxiety for over 10 years now. Alongside anxiety, I suffer with hearing voices, I have PTSD, I have an eating disorder and I have psychosis. ( only recently diagnosed).

In my spare time, I like to draw and write poems. I love my pets! I love watching things on the TV. Altogether I’m a lovely person and I hope to meet some lovely people here. Hugs to everyone,

for what it's worth
every critter with a brain suffers psychosis at one time or another. "psychosis" simply means to lose touch with reality. who doesn't at one time or another? one of my personal campaigns is to simplify and destigmatize the words stemming from the latin word root, "psych." how can psych, psychic, psycho, psychology, etc., be so radically different in their meaning and the ways they are used?

getting back on topic. . . welcome to the forum. i hope you find stabilizing companionship here.
