Coworker Conflict

You are dealing with a bully at work which is very common in the employment area.

You are so normal for what you are experiencing. She obviously has mental problems unaddressed and is picking on you because you helped to create a consequence for her that she does not like.

It is also common for co-workers in this type of situation do not speak up but their turn will come to them eventually.

Everyone here has given you such good advice and I am proud of you for starting to take steps to take care of you.

My heart goes out to you because this is such a out of control situation.

We are currently having problems with a neighbor that is escalating and it sounds like this woman is doing it to you.

You may have to find another job. This woman is a real trouble maker for anyone who stands up to her. I am sad that you are experiencing this because it makes your PTSD worse and it has long lasting impact on you.

Sometimes you have to leave. It sounds like the situation is intolerable for you and that mgmt. isn't listening or caring. Please protect yourself and your relationship, and see if you can find a pathway out to another position. I understand what bullying and isolation can do. Do document and follow P & Ps for leaving so as to preserve your reference, but start looking around. A job isn't worth it. Take care! VB :hug:

The thought of leaving this job is so heartbreaking. I have been here for 14 years. All the Mental Health Hospitals in the state know me. We have a great relationship.

My wife has suggested the same thing about looking for another job. She thinks I get start a new job making more then I am making now, Especially if I go to Boston. I hate the big city so I don't think I could manage that.

I have a lot of sorting out to do.
