Ya, we actually inherited a snowblower. Got to take it in for a tune-up. Oddly enough, though, our next-door neighbor and friend -- a native of SC, who had practically no experience with serious snow before moving here -- loves to run her snowblower and does our area in addition to hers. Go figure! She won't take payment, so I make her a loaf of my bread machine multi-grain bread, which turns out way better than my homemade ever would. But she picked her partner up from the airport earlier tonight and they've been apart for months, so hubs and I are going to be sure to get our butts out there asap after it hits, cause we don't want to disrupt the lovebirds :-). She's leaving before Thanksgiving, which sucks. But we're having her partner over on Sunday for a belated Thanksgiving to coincide with hubby's birthday. We bought all the fixings yesterday, including a 22 lb turkey, but that's for five people total, so once you figure everyone getting some leftovers, I think it's about right. Combined with normal groceries, we spent a major fortune, but it's well worth it once a year.
