@blackemerald1 - Thanks for the well wishes. Got through it all quite well. :) Am I doing the math right in thinking your temps have been in the 104+ F range?! OMG! We get there in the summers when the heat index ratchets us up due to horrible humidity. I was going to complain that we're heading back into the 80's F for a few days, but I'll step back and be humble about that and the humidity in my corner of the world. lol Sending a cold beverage your way. :)

Thanks for the drink.. @VioletButterfly lol - we are heading back into catastrophic temps again this week after a very weak cool change. It probably dropped the temp by about 7 C .

I think 41 is about 105 F so.. yeah getting warm. Over-night was the worst.. only dropping to about 23 C - But yes! you can keep that humidity... I flop over in high humidity that's just gross... walking through water... and I had enough of that when I lived in the tropics. No thank you lol.. :)

Rather spring-like with temps in the mid-50s and brief appearances of sun when the chem-clouds part. I'm feeling a little touch of spring fever, but I'm sure I'll be slapped back into a frigid and frosty reality as soon as it gets dark.

It's hovering at 38 C here... long sheets of white cloud but still plenty of sun. Humidity is only around 30%.

Heating up again... sigh...

Today warmed up again quite quickly bubbling just under the 40 C mark - though the UV Index was too stupid to even contemplate venturing out in without long sleeves, hat and sunnies...

It's just lovely now - though still warm and the middle of the night :hilarious:

Ok well it got to 39 C with clear skies and I would grumble but tomorrow it is forecast to be 45 C so I'll save my bitchin for then!

I might stay in bed tomorrow with the aircon and fan on :) and just read..

Records are tumbling all around me... several degrees above monthly average...

It's been a dreadful day!!

Above 40 C by 1030 am and a really hot Northerly wind blew in..

I was feeling panicked - I could smell bush fire..and heard the sirens... too far away to know where but I was looking about and across towards some ranges. I have a lot bush and large gums around me..

It eventually peaked out at 45.2 C for me here but other parts of the state went up to above 46.

I've had the National news service channel on checking out the various alerts for most of the day...

My day started at 0530 hrs and it's 0130 now and a cool change has just started to blow in with a light sprinkle of rain.

Tomorrow's forecast is showers and 27 C. - much more acceptable :)
