35 C bright hot pale blue sky with no wind. It cooled off over-night a little - that was a relief but jumped back to full throttle heat today. No respite in sight from the weather forecasters.
@blackemerald1 Wet hair & icepacks in my bra = my too hot to sleep cureZzzzzz
Daytime it’s full body (long sleeve, long leg) underarmor/ skinz/ or rashguards... skin them on, step in the shower, wash my hair... towel off (the skin tight stuff doesn’t have to be soaking to work, just damp), put a handful of gel in my hair to keep it wet for hours, and dress over. Personal seriously badass air conditioning. Rewet arms and such throughout the day as they dry. No chafing, no heat rash, no sticky icky awfulness. Just a cool breeze whenever I move. Flowy clothes help add breeze on the wet underlayer, if I’m not moving much.
Above 50C in the daytime I put (actual) ice in my bra, too. Because the melt is useful. It’s just annoying at night, though. Much prefer the gel packs.
