Current Weather

It will be 72 today. While the rest of the States are digging out of this arctic blast, we are sweating and complaining. We really have not had any real winter to speak of. But a lot rain. So Spring will be beautiful.

I used to spend Nov-May in the mountains... a 10-23 foot base was normal -roads dug out, of course, and avalanche blasting- but the past 5 or so years I’ve been stuck in the rainy old lowlands :wtf: Doesn’t even snow once a year on average, and this might not even stick though it’s been silver dollar flakes for hours, but damn it feels good below freezing. Moisture sucked right out of the air, can see for ages without the rain & fog obscuring it all; and only my muscles hurt, not my joints and bones. f*ck me I’ve missed this. I can move. I can see. I feel 20 years younger.

Today started off with quite a bit of cloudy smoke haze from bushfires which are still being attended to.

Light breeze, sunny and getting hotter steadily. Forecast was 29 but I think it will go to 32 +

It is currently 45 degrees and we are expecting highs around 60 degrees or above for the next several days, but also rain and clouds. Still I am happy that it is above freezing for awhile. I have to take a stroll on Wednesday and it is going to be raining but I can deal with rain better than I can cold air, (I can't breathe well when the air is very cold). So, yay me!!!

I love the snow, but damn this house isn't built for this cold weather. Not the arctic blast some have been getting but well below freezing and going to mostly be like that for a while. Also, we are already at foot and it's snowing hard. Tomorrow is my first day of my new job, so, wicked excited about the snow but... hmm.... It was lovely to walk the dogs in it though

Another day with smoke haze & high temperature's, the humidity is slowly increasing. It may rain tomorrow. :)

Spring-like during the day, albeit unnatural, I'm finding it quite refreshing and energizing. A wintry reality will be back to slap me in a few days, but meanwhile, I'm soaking up some rays.

Sorry you guys have had awful weather, it made the news here also!

It's been a bit snowy here. It snowed last Wednesday, my 2 labradors loved it. It was down to -4c at one point. It's back up to about 7c today & the snow has been washed away.

2 degrees, and Raining hard. I thought it would be snow at that temperature. Maybe it will turn to snow overnight?

Humid, hot weather.. there is rain to the North and rain to the South. For me 33 C and thus far no rain. Maybe tomorrow?

Humidity makes my brain feel like it is even more foggy than normal and I've tractor chain linked around my ankle... ugh..
