A perfect fall day; fiery trees, blue skies, warm sun, crisp air, followed by a star spangled winter clear night...

...shattered by the loudest crashing boom of thunder I’ve ever heard, as the world lit up too bright to see nothing but blinding white, both out of nowhere:eek: followed by hand sized chunks of ice -crystal clear, flat shards- crashing from the sky, breaking windshield glass & skylights & windows, with a torrential rain worth of a monsoon on its heels. Ho-lee-f*ck. Hi weather! Thank you for not being a bomb.

Yesterday wasn't"t windy nope just a taste.. today was windy! 100 km/ph wind gusts - trees down, fences ripped up Good day for cooking and so glad I didn't need to be out in it. :)

Some random woman exclaimed to me in the parking lot at Target that it was "Too damn hot!" OMG, so funny as the same thing was crossing my mind. Not that we're in the NE, but good grief, it is October and it's still in the 90's for Pete's sake!!!! We won't even mention the humidity at this point. blech!!!

A cold front is set to move thru over the next couple of days...currently 60 degrees and light rain. By 6 pm tomorrow night we will experience windchills of about 24 degrees. Brrr Time to get out my hoodie and gloves.

Mid 40's and raining. We're expecting rain the rest of the week. It won't be long before we start getting snow. ?
