I think it’s raining snow melt?

Because it’s not falling at raindrop speed (terminal velocity 32ft ps/ps), but at tree dripping big ole fat drops on you as you walk under it speed. Which is just weird. Nothing THAT BIG is allowed to fall from the sky THAT SLOWLY :confused: Drizzly misty stuff? Sure. That falls in all directions, at all speeds. This ain’t that. These are huge effing raindrops. Just sort of lazily plopping out of the sky. But it would make sense, if it was drifting gently down... big fat flakes swirling and spinning... then at the last moment? Melted :shifty:

Just lovely out.

Blue skies, sunshine, humidity half what it usually is so puddles are evaporating and everything is starting to dry out at least a little bit, brisk winter breeze off the glacier. Blue herons and eagles and crows and bright green growing things.

Granted, this prolly means a storms a’coming. That think edge of high pressure pushed in front of a particularly nasty low pressure clusterf*ck. But I’ll enjoy it while I can. A chance to regroup, that thin edge.

Got a big case of spring fever up in here. The last two days have been sunny and almost 70 degrees F. My favorite kind of weather. Not too hot, not too cool.

Spring is on its way! It's so strange to hear the first birds of the season. It takes a few seconds to realise what that familiar beautiful sound is. The temps are slowly climbing, it seems the Sun has come out of hibernation too. Yay!! Even though it's the rainy season this is my favorite time of year.

It’s been warm. It’s March now and I hope we have a cold spring so I can wear my new coat. The time is going too fast. I wish the weather was more difficult, it slows things down.

Lovely cool nights. Dew on the ground. Cool air blowing from the South..

Yesterday afternoon it began to rain so gently that I had to go outside to notice it at all. But then it got heavier and harder and pretty much rained all night.

It's the most rain we've had in several years. All from an ex cyclone that swung through the middle of the continent.

If the downpipe on my roof hadn't been blocked, creating this huge waterfall from downward pressure, I wouldn't have had a care in the world. Well, I didn't mind too much anyway.

The ground is soaked down to about six inches. Simply bloody beautiful. Love, love LOVE rain...

The last day of Summer came and went on Saturday. Officially into Autumn and it's beautiful.

^Omg I've not seen whiskey in a weather event but let's bring it on!! Sounds like fun to me.

Today was like yesterday. Simply beautiful. Cool nights, ideal for sleeping then warming up to mid twenties C. which is truly my ideal daytime temperature. I'm loving it if you've not noticed. lol
