It’s usually 10c and raining here, in June. Sometimes storming. Usually just wind off the glacier, rather than full on sea storms landing, but those happen, too. The Pineapple Express, hot winds off the ocean, happen in late winter/early spring. For a week here, a week there. Then back to 10c & rain. Not really....The high here today will be....15c, 59F. And rain rain thunderstorm rain.......
At least I know where to find the cats....looking out the front window watching it rain.....
It’s been weirdly 20-30c with… scattered clouds & sunshine. Most days. With the occasional, oh, okay. 10c & rain. Then spike up “hot” again. Then a few days of normal. Wacky weather, for here. It’s not usually breaking 20 until July. The weather, here, is usually identical in both January & June. 10c & rain. Hence the nickname.
20-30 with scattered clouds, and occasional 10c overcast, is normal for July & Aug. up to 40 in Sept, but more than a few days in a row makes the news, and people dying from the “heat”.
Here? 10C and raining for 10 mo. 2mo of 20-30. A week or so of 40.
I grew up in places where 40c was winter weather, so it still fries my brain a BIT. Unless I’m fat, or pregnant, and then 20c feels like a circle of hell.
