It was icy this morning as forecast, but the sky is bright blue and the sun is very bright.

Cloudy and cold. It is very dark in the house. I should turn some lights on around here. I dread winter. Too dreary and depressing. I am glad it only lasts for so long.

Hot day today. Sunny out. I went to the beach for 20 minutes.

Very cold today. We had a hail shower this afternoon but it cleared up soon.

I have heard that the Met Office are expecting 100 days of snow. Now that would be unusual for the UK and will cause a lot of trouble as this country grinds to a halt if we get a tiny bit of snow!
