Sun Guilt. Verb. A feeling of having done wrong (by not being out in the sun) or failed in an obligation (to soak up every last ray possible).
With over 300 overcast days per year in my city Sun Guilt is a double edged sword, as there are very few days it can actually present a problem, but which only makes the problem more pronounced when it is sunny :p
Current Weather
Tuesday - Sun Guilt
Wed - Too sick to care
Thursday - Sun Guilt
Friday - Disbelief. ((How is it STILL blue skies & sunshine???)) ... Took sick self and sleeping bag outside. Ah. Sun. :happy:
It's sunny and cold out there & I'm doing Sun Teaming.
Sun Teaming (n): Close relative to sun tanning, though designed to compensate for Sun Guilt of another by catching as much sun as possible, even from very few rays present & no f*cks to give for the sun at the moment.
It's been a weird day here, started off dull and cold, then brightened in the afternoon, (that's when I did some jobs in the garden) then it turned back to being cold again?.......mind you, I'm in Scotland?
@Gadgie
I once heard that Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet based in Italy because he could hardly imagine hot blooded love where he lived because of the constant need to avoid rain and feel bad because of the weather, while down here we rarely do :P
