I am getting there. Now around 75kg and still losing. I am following the 8 week blood sugar diet style, as put forward by Dr Micheal Mosley and his wife Dr Clare Bailey, with nutritionalist Dr Sarah Schenker in their recipe book. So many delicious low cal, low carb recipes! I find them very satisfying and it's becoming easier and easier to eat fewer calories.
I started on this path because I developed pre-diabetes and after a few stops and starts and ups and downs, I am finally keeping steady on it.
It's one of the things that is really keeping me moving forward on this recovery journey, at the moment.
My brain/head is feeling clearer and less congested, less dirty-cotton-wooly and less trapped-in-a-vice-y. I am a bit less constantly tired and overwhelmed too.
