Sorry about the last paragraph. My phone kept changing words on me, and now I can't seem to edit it. Hope you can make sense of it.

Oh God, your poor darling husband and you. I think you should call the critical assessment team in your area (Cat team). I've had recent experience. I don't get your husbands experience, but I so get the confusion, the desperation. He is not alone. Please get outside help.

Haven't heard of that kind of team around here. We've tried everything it seems, to get help. No one seems to be taking him serious. Feels like they just don't know what to say or do, so they look at how he handles himself and decide it's not serious. He's a master at looking like he's fine, to the point that he struggles in knowing how to *show* people he is not ok. He tells them what he is going through, but according to their assessment of his character, they actually tell him he is fine. We feel like we're fighting some sort of battle just to get some answers.

Pepperanne, clearly you are not alone - and I don't have much to add except to commend you for standing up for your fellow group members and doing your best to stay present and within the rules while doing so. This is difficult (to the point that most people just WON'T do it) for everyone, PTSD or no. Well Done.

Mrs. T, yes it is possible from what I understand, to have alters you don't know about. It is also possible he has an organic (physical) illness that accounts for the gaps and hallucinations. Or maybe it is something else. You guys will need to get to a competent psychologist/trauma specialist and possibly a neurologist to get a diagnosis - that is a lot easier said than done in a lot of places. You might want to look at the list of trauma therapists in that forum and see if anyone is close to you....
