I often say to.people and my Dr's / therapists that I feel like "a part of me died" as a result of the trauma.
Everyone tells me that makes no sense, that a part of you can't die.
I heard another trauma survivor use the exact same phrase the other day and that made me research it and I found two studies about it.
I'm wondering if others have experienced this too?
Does it ever go away again?
