I was told that evil spirits will posses me if one day I would dare to left the cult. My mind was under their control, I was under coercitive manipulation. I know it is not the same than you, but I was terrified. I faced them, I chased them away. I was truly furious. It worked... May be until the next time...who knows. But I know now what I have to do. Hell, time to time I do an exorcism on myself to get the feeling of them away from me and back on the line of they are not with me, it's just me around, they are not with me and cannot act through me and cannot make me do what they once have, again.

Back when I was a Christian I was thinking of it really hard, but given how unimpressed I've grown with Vatican, don't think they guys would want me... that still leaves a buncha Latino countries to consider, though. :cautious::hilarious: So you go for it and pave the path. :D

I had to leave this post the first time l read yet. Freshly out of the abuse, yes l felt his energy. But l lived with him for 18 years and so hence the connect. Two years later, not a problem. But just creepy to read this, like what a great movie to watch. Those memories are in us, waiting to be triggered, to flash, to dominate a mind that has to embrace change which can be way tougher. It's safer to fall back to what we know. To stand on our own can be traumatic on its own. But stand on your own, dissmiss the abusive , uncaring person and all their garbage, strip it away and you are pure once again.
