Do You Have Passion?

That's an interesting thought, Jesta. I think you might be onto something. What really sucks is that people ALWAYS encourage me to succeed as a result of my passion, and it just makes it seem like even more of a let down. Whether it's good or bad, people generally have positive opinions about "passion", like it's a good trait. It would definitely make things easier if they told me how bad and awful and shameful it is to be passionate. I would probably accomplish something.

I see passion as generally a good trait, but you're right, A-Ron. It can also be a negative one, particularly if it causes you to burn out on things too quickly. Or to keep getting passionate about something and then losing that passion for it, again and again in a repeating cycle (with the same thing or varied things), could cause you to become really disillusioned, and never know contentment or satisfaction.

I think the ideal (to me) is to be passionate about something, but to have balance at the same time. That way if you lose what you're passionate about, you're not suddenly completely bereft and lost.

Iam passionate about my son but I am still not really feeling passionate for dating..like I just do not feel like being touched, kind of feel dead inside, I hope to one day how to learn to get this back.

I would definitely call myself passionate. There are some times that if you get me started talking about them, you'll have me there telling you all about it enthusiastically.

I love seeing passion in people. It shows that they have something to really live for and there is something that motivates them. My passions are what helps me from sinking too low.

I just read the legal and editorial policies. I didn't realize that bold font was only supposed to be used for emphasis. I use it because it is difficult for me to read the regular font. I hope that's all right with the moderators and everyone else on here.

I am very passionate about my recovery. Everything is going so well and happening so fast. It just increases my passion and motivated me to continue moving forward.
