Yeah, the rage is really a problem, it's taken a lot of work to keep in wrapped up. I think it comes from a combination of anxiety and self loathing. This things strips away a part of you.

Actually he was displaying misplaced internal rage. He didn't get what he wanted in another thread and brought the issue here, was asked to stop, kept going and had himself banned by his own actions.

This type of behaviour is bordering on trolling and is disruptive to the overall forum and hence not acceptable.

Well I'm a terrible typist myself, so I understand his point of view. Anyways, the rage thing is a good dialog, glad it was added. I'm sure most of us have struggle with anger. This thing is like a giant magnifier for negative energy.

This is the exact problem, IMHO... there is no ego on my part. There is a tendency for males to come upon this forum as though it's a pissing contest with me, the male admin. Well... I can tell you now, you win, I lose. I honestly just don't care about nonsense.

What I do care about, is protecting this forum, and its volunteer staff, from being abused from people who find they want to challenge the very policy of this website in which they agree to upon registration. Oh wait... negligence of a member not reading what they agree to is apparently my problem! Wait... no it's not. It's a member responsibly to follow forum policy, not staff, nor mine.

People who want to piss and moan about this forums strict rules, simply have a choice... register and comply, OR, don't register and don't worry about it. The choice truly is your own, as a member, all before you register here. It is that simple! No arrogance. No ego.

Contrary to some beliefs... website admins actually can pick and choose who they have as members. It is not a right to join a website, it is a privilege. I have this very privilege on forums I am registered. I comply with that sites rules, otherwise, I get banned.

I get what he's saying as well... shit, I've got it long ago. The rule for 'basic' grammar has been watered down to 'basic' due to member feedback, but basic is just that, basic. Browsers have the ability for spellcheck, basic grammar, things like that, now. It makes information much easier to read, and overall feedback from members and readers has conclusively proved 'basic' grammar as a positive to reading this forum. Members compliment the forum for that very reason... they read first, and discover how easy it is to read here. Why? Because of the 'basic' grammar rule.

Off-course staff's role is to enforce it. It is a forum rule, and staff policy is strict on when they warn versus when they don't, for basic grammar. If staff didn't perform their role as agreed, I would sack them, simple as that.

I get a lot of things... and I love discussion. I love feedback. What I don't like is people pissing and moaning about staff. If a member wants to have a go at me personally... broad shoulders here. Go for it. But staff... I draw the line.

I'm here to talk to people who really want to connect so unless you'd like to help me understand PTSD and why I do the crazy thing I do, Don't talk to me. You don't seem like a nice person. I don't want to have a conversation with you, I want to have a conversation with nice, genuine people looking for help, encouragement, and understanding.
