Hello everyone,
I am thinking about quitting my current job and taking a remote work from home job that might be a little more slower paced. One of the reasons is I just got diagnosed with PTSD this year, although, I've had it for a while. However, whenever I was healing before I had a lot more time and a lot less stress in my day-to-day life. I was actually managing the symptoms quite well but hadn't been to therapy. Since, I have started my job and entered into a relationship my symptoms have seemingly accelerated. I am kind of on the cusp of insanity at least once a week. Then the weekends come, and I am extremely less activated.
I think it is because there is no traffic, no people at work talking about one another, no one monitoring me, no hard deadlines and people running around the office yelling. It is just calm and peaceful. Not saying managing my time working from home would be easier but I might have a little more personal time to heal.
Let me know if anyone feels working from home gives them more time to relax.
