Drastic Mood Change When It Rains

I'm not generally a moody person at all, but lately whenever it rains it just completely changes my mood. It makes me feel very sad and irritable and I don't want to do anything.

I don't get this way in the winter or when it snows or anything, only when it rains. Anyone else have similar problems?

I think many people share this problem. It seems to be a low-light issue, which is why you wouldn't experience it on snowy days, which aren't ever as dark as rainy days can be. The city in Canada with the highest suicide rate is also the city with the fewest sunny days...

I hope you feel good soon, mafia!

You know how elderly people will complain about their joints and their bones hurting before it rains? I get this, and migraines sometimes too. Which in turn makes me cranky. Which domino effects into fits of rage if I'm not careful.

Taking high dose prescription vitamin D3 supplements after blood work showed I was significantly depleted has helped me with low light days. I know people get vitamin D3 absorbed from sunlight, but I wasn't keeping enough in my system.

It is D2 not D3 .....sorry about giving wrong number. Taking the supplement has helped my depression lesson over all and sleep improved some too.
