Agreed, they take great pleasure in making us crazy. Look at the medieval warm period. Look at HAARP. It makes me angry that psychopaths run the world, I just try to make the most of what we have and try to help people and animals in need. Weather is regular where I am too but every winter they warn us of deadly blizzards, lmao, still waiting on them. We all joke about it. I remember very thick snow in the 80s. So it was normal and still would be now = if it ever came.

@Mach123 - I have so loved the pictures you've provided through the summer and fall re: NE, and the narrative. I so miss living up that way. I very much enjoyed W Mass and the Bershires when I lived in CT. I enjoyed looking at the Big E website a few weeks ago. My friend who once lived in Boston didn't know what it was, much less what cider donuts were!!! Really@? I don't think she visited Lexington and Concord either, lol. :) Anyway, thanks for sharing. I miss NE so much, especially Mass.

October 31, Halloween. My wife is home so she has candy to give out but, I skipped it last year. It's another one of those things. My wife would go to work and make me do it. I couldn't believe it when I realized I was letting her do that. I don't care anyway, we won't get more than a few kids at most. I carved the pumpkin. I did not get around to it till about a half hour ago. My son is home from the military. We are having a nice time. We have high wind warnings for tricks or treats, but its warm. Drizzle and damp and dark and muggy. Not a very good night to be in a heavy costume.

Well, our "wind and rain" here blew over a HUGE TREE today. This sucker's trunk was at least a foot wide, probably more like a foot and a half. This tree was in my neighbor's front yard, and just missed his house by a couple feet! It barely missed his trailer by inches! I heard the impact, because I live right across the street and it was LOUD. I had feared that the thing had landed on our building, because we have huge trees here too. So sometimes a "little rain and wind" can be dangerous! Ya never know....

We walked in the state park yesterday. I don't like it as much as the beach same problems, people dogs bikes ticks mosquitos et al. So not the same, the beach is somewhat different not less problematic. My wife can't go in the sun, thoroughly a creature of the shade.

But it was nice because it's cool, in the fifties and my wife bought these big walking sticks so we are armed. I know that sounds silly, but I'm very episodic about being approached, especially by dogs off leash. Usually it's just me and 3 women, but at least it's 3 women who speak softly but carry a big stick.

We just came home from church and lunch at Whalburgers which we really like. We have to go for some kind of walk but nobody feels like it after a heavy lunch. We are enjoying hanging out with our soldier and not feeling guilty about spoiling him and ourselves rotten. He'll be gone too soon.

OK! A little depressed! Daylight savings started last night and its 4:30 in the afternoon and it's pretty much dark. : (

Yes, it got dark here too soon also. None the less, we had a lot of frost on the leaves this morning and the air was crisp with freshness and I sat out there for about forty-five mins and it was so lovely. So, I guess we have to resort to morning appreciation instead now.

We walked just two of us. We got home just before dark. I left the beach because of the dogs. Walking the roads was fine. The tide was so high it's not a good walk at any rate.

I learned something important from it this week so, I'm not as trigger hungover.

It was cold around 50 degrees. You have to really start to change your thinking on clothes at around 50 and start considering your "gear" a little more carefully but we are doing well and have to keep going. My daughter's losing weight and her body is changing and she's looking much better. That's the goal. Activity is better than inactivity.

Yesterday we were assaulted by dogs. I was actually charged by a dog off the leash. This won't do of course. I have one more call to make to the dog officer and have him explain anonymous reporting of violations which he told me was available. I only regret I mentioned it on social media at all which only drew unnecessary attention to me. I never would have known I could report anonymously however if i hadn't.

So then I'm at the point again. Walk elsewhere or launch a full scale assault and I'll have to deal with my cPTSD reflex again.

It occurred to me it's like a clockwork Orange. After he was programmed and he couldn't protect himself except by puking. That's about how i feel when I try to phone this in. So IDK that I can do it and it's a lot of not very nice people to take on by myself.

It's really bad though. My wife's all for it lol.

I have reported stuff anonymously before, and the person(s) I reported found out who reported them anyway. I hope and pray this does not happen to you!

I hope you are using walking sticks and pepper spray and such to protect yourselves with.

I'm under Dr.'s orders after taking a fall Saturday night on some friends' front steps. I'm supposed to be getting bed rest and sleep a lot. I have to go for ex-rays today. I am so stiff, I cannot wait to get the OK to go out walking again. The leaves here have almost all fallen off the trees now, since we had that horrific wind storm. I see this when I am waiting for rides while sitting on the front bench. We have a lot of pines here too, so I see their beauty all year round.

Yesterday was rainy and I got busy with dinner everything is chaos. IDK about the weather yet but everyone is talking about cold later in the week. We are going to take a car trip overnight. Might hit snow. It's probable actually. : )
