If this guy can overcome the tragedy of physical loss as catastrophic as he has , remembering that he will also have deep cutting psychological scarring because of the trauma involved, then I sure as damn it can muster the strength of mind to overcome my inuries. Noah Galloway I salute you for becoming an inspiration to me from this moment forth.

This guy's physical abilities are amazing and they have come back to him when he thought it was all over. No shame, Laurie, in not being able to "be him." We all have our own way out. His is truly inspirational.

Its good to have inspiration. That is very inspiring.

But not shame. You are comparing your trauma and healing to his. Don't. Everyone is different and heals in their own ways at their own pace. Its one thing to take strength and inspiration from the success of others. But don't use it to put yourself down.

I have learned over the years that pain is pain and it all hurts. You have nothing to feel shamed about. You are a good and decent person. I hope you can shake off the shame. I have also learned not to compare pain because I used to do that and felt the shame and false guilt etc.
