Anonymoose, I am not going to reinvent the wheel here, but I will be quite clear on this. I have read this thread without bias of Nicolette being my wife, and I actually am agreeing with Wendy on this. You have stepped over the mark the moment you tried to discredit Nicolette's opinion / experience / suggestions / questions towards your decision. If you do not want input from members, then do not put something out there for it to begin with.
As Wendy clearly stated, you are going to get a wide array of opinions, suggestions, experience and so forth. Instead, you came close to attacking Nicolette with remarks about qualifications. I'm sorry, but therapists and physicians are often known to be wrong, and qualifications do not make any individual correct. Doctors have a qualification to treat our health and well-being, and they make mistakes regularly.
It is one thing to make a statement that you are sticking with your therapists decision, it is another to get pissed off and coming close to attacking others for their opinions or experience. You make a choice to ignore something you read or to respond... but it is your choice and your words on how you respond.
Again, I have always edited with the intent to keep bias out of my decisions, regardless who the person is, and this is no different.
