The fact that it is -29°C means there won't be many loud obnoxious drunks staggering about.
I might freeze my ass off, but at least I'll do it in peace. Lol

I am listening to the radio tonight with a favorite music station as old as me from my younger days and they are going to have a new years program on later that I want to listen to. It is very quiet right now around here.

Yeah it will get pretty noisy here too around that time, and some people will be shooting off their guns too, really popular on the firework holidays in Ca.

I spoke too soon they are shooting off fireworks right now but far enough away that it does not startle me.

I am in the last 10 minutes of 2017. Each year I say a prayer that the new year will be better and for as long as I can remember that prayer has not been answered. This year instead of a prayer I am making the effort to work on myself to make the new year better. Here's hoping for a productive and positive healing 2018.

To me it feels as though, New Years may be a big deal and I didn't get it for years. It's about letting the past go and to be joyous for another year. I'm not joyous perhaps, but I'm glad that I enjoy time now. The possibilty of time. Some don't have it. ( another day, another hour, another week, another kiss.. etc.)

Back from the store.
I was right about one thing. No drunks.

Wrong about the temperature though. It ticked down to -30°C Whilst I was tying my boots.
Still. Made it there and back and can still feel all of my fingers. Not bad.

2017 was one of the worst years of my life!

It was the worst year of my life and I am so glad it is almost over! I think it is high time for some good stuff to be coming my way Eve.
