Relationship He Does Not Remeber Us Having Sex

One night we were laying in bed together I wanted to have sex he didnt so we just ended up falling asleep, about two hours later I woke up and he was leaning over me saying he wanted to f*** the s*** out me and started pulling my pants off. I was already wanting it before so went along with it although he had this look in his eyes that I'd never seen before. He was rougher then usual and he had his hands around my neck and was pulling my hair...The next morning I asked him what was up with you last night he asked me what I was talking about I explained it to him and he said stop lying we didn't have sex last night we went to sleep. I had to tell him about 10 times before he said I don't know I guess I just don't remember.

Why would he forget this? He has comabt PTSD from Iraq and a TBI (his humvee was hit by an IED).

Prz, get you partner to join the combatptsd site the guys there will help and they know what he went through over there. For the other problem definitely speak to his therapist about this, you don't want this issue to continue.

He already has joined but he never gets on nor does he go to therapy

This is always difficult I have ruined my marriage, and this advice comes from my broken mind, set boundaries with him, you need to be almost mean and demand that he seeks help or you will take actions, you have yourself and your baby to think of.

I hit rock bottom before I started treatment and that did a lot of damage, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind, and get him on the site the guys will help.

If he doesn't want to write anything just get him to read some of the stuff on there.

That sounds a bit scary.

I've had a similar incident with a guy I was seeing a few years back, and he also had no recollection of saying some stuff to me about wanting to tie me up and punch me in the face. He wasn't on drugs at the time, or drunk, and it was so out of the blue and weird.

I just left and didn't have contact with him for a few months, and when I did call him, he was upset that I had not been coming around, so I told him why and he was the same as your partner...totally shocked and seemingly had no recollection of it ever happening. He seemed very genuinely spun by it, but later would say that he wanted to beat me up?

I don't know what gets into them? He was not a veteran though, but he had been molested and I'm pretty sure he had PTSD and some other stuff going on. I just had to get away from him in the end. It was too weird.
