Hi everyone my name is Ashley and I'm 27. I've been married since April 17,2006, 4 months after we got married I got pregnant but ended up having a tubal pregnancy and lost the baby. I was told that I couldn't have kids "naturally" so that started my depression back and I haven't been able to get out. I have so many medical problems...Hydrocephalus,cerebral palsy,scoliosis,chronic migraines,depression,ptsd,anxiety and fibromyalgia. I was mentally and physically abused by my mother and she passed away April 5,2014 exactly 9 years to the day that I met my husband.

Welcome! I have the chronic migraine thing sort of, and have scoliosis/ptsd/anxiety/depression too! And my mom has fibro (and I have a different pain disorder) so I know how overwhelming it can all be. I probably also cannot have kids and (not to belittle you or sound patronizing so please don't take it that way) I know how one thing adds to another and it leaves you saying... Well then...

This is a pretty good group. I was initially dubious before I joined but it is really a life saver

welcome..... I'm sorry you can't have kids naturally, I am going for tests o n Monday to see if I can have kids...... it must be hard for you.....

Hi Ashley and welcome to the forum.
I understand the despair of not being able to have a family. I had unsuccessful fertility treatment and never did manage to get pregnant. However I have been able to see that it has allowed us to do other things. It is no compensation, but it does help to see the positives.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and welcome in return. It sounds like you are a strong woman to endure what you have. It saddens me how many people who desperately want children and would make wonderful parents, aren't able to have them, while so many people who don't deserve them, can and do. Have you and your husband given any thought to adoption, or using a surrogate? Best of luck to you dear. I hope you can find the community and support here that you're looking for.
