New Here
I'm about to turn 37. I have PTSD and anxiety and depression and who knows what else. I've been unemployed for over a year. I left my job of 6 years in insurance claims customer service because I couldn't take being in the office and the pressure anymore. I was on medical leave from the job for a bit, but I knew I couldn't go back.

I don't when it all started, probably with my parents arguing and divorce around 6-8 followed by alientation and bullying at school. I was diagnosed with this in my 20s. I don't even remember the specific date. There's a lot of memories that are hazy or just not there. There are other memories I can never get away from. I've been in therapy for over a year, plus medication. SSRIs and all that. I've driven off my girlfriend, friends, family. I just hide.

I tried working online but I couldn't concentrate. Tried out for an editor job and got turned down. Tried another job that seemed perfect but 1 spot for 7 applicants and didn't make it.

Sometimes I don't know what's wrong with me and sometimes I know exactly what it is. I just wish I had hope. I do know that everytime I see this scene from the West Wing I cry:

Also, I don't care who knows my first name. It's Brad. Pleased to meet you.
