Hello,
I'm a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and have severe PTSD. I'm currently on disability for it. I'm just looking for people to help me on my road to recovery.

Thanks for the welcome. I need to talk to others with PTSD. I feel so frustrated with the medication not helping and the therapy only keeping me alive from day to day. Something has to change.

Start a diary. It’s a good way to off load and also maybe others will connect with similar feelings experiences. I am sorry of what you experienced it is so tough but it can get better sometimes. The people on this forum are amazing. I have been diagnosed for around 15 years and currently in therapy for the second time doing EMDR. I hope you find comfort or your questions answered here :)

Welcome @Angelwings , I am glad you are here. I'm sorry for the reasons. Take your time. This is a big place with a lot of information, many threads about everything PTSD and quite a few fun threads also...
Possibly give your self some time before starting a diary. I was here for two years before I did. I needed to see where and if I fit, wanted to meet some people and get to know them a little... some are able to come here and lay it all out. I wasn't one of them.. Use this forum and you will benefit on many levels...
