Who the hell is totally "sane". for that matter.

I'll bring along my new friend, Though I hate the thought of having a child as a MPD.
The only thing my mother had to give me was life and this disorder. She never wanted me in the first place, I was the cause of "all" her problems.

Also I'm an consenting adult, and can make my own decisions. I don't really think he's ashamed, and probably won't be a secret for long.

I don't quite understand. Would you like to explain?

I won't go on and on as I have said a lot already and many others have too. But I truly hope you do two things. One is to wait for a month or so after finishing therapy with him before taking it any further. Two is to at least have 2 or 3 sessions with a new therapist discussing this before you do anything. There is no harm in doing that is there? You say you tend to weigh things up properly before doing anything so I am sure you can see that there isnt any rush.
