Hey my Brothers and Sisters, I'm back. My wife and I spent a few day with the good folks in the medical profession. I came away with about as much faith in them as I have in government. But, that's another story.
Hollywood has tried countless times to paint a picture of war, and fallen short with each attempt. But, I believe that there are moments in these movies that are worth notice. For me one such moment was in Saving Private Ryan when Tom Hanks said. "With each man I kill I get a little farther from home". Same movie, same actor. "How will I ever tell my wife about a day like this"?
I tried myself to explain it to the folks back home, and couldn't even come close. No one has ever invented to words. But, I take comfort in the fact that more are interested and willing to listen.
