Not a fan of gory movies and those involving gun violence are a definite no no. I have had more than my share of paranormal activity in real life, so watching it just reminds me of some scary times. Nope, not a fan of horror movies.

I can watch horror movies as long as its daylight, and someone else is home with me. I don't enjoy them like I did when I was a kid. What I absolutely cannot watch is someone else being hurt. Anything to do with war, torture, abuse - anywhere there is a stronger and a weaker component. I completely freeze up or have to leave the room. I think I can watch horror because I know that its not real but those others I know are real, having experienced some myself.

Hell no! Can't deal with jumpy ones or psychological ones. I figure I've got too much adrenaline cruising around my bloodstream already. I remember thinking I'd be brave and watch some horror films with flatmates a few years back, major mistake. By their standards they weren't even that scary! Didn't help that our fire alarm was playing up and would go off at random, usually in the early hours. I woke up screaming for weeks.

Yes, and LOVE horror movies.

That started young though. About age 7 my sister started me watching horror movies. "Blood and guts" doesnt bother me, I learned after finally watching the show The Walking Dead. I think its because Ive seen so much of it in my trauma that Im numb to it. One would think it triggers me but it doesnt. Not sure why.

Horror movies I like are ghost/demon like ones. Not the gore ones. The gore ones are tacky; with the exception of the Saw movies, which are my fav.

The occult like ones i have trouble with. Mostly the ones that have rituals and chanting anywhere in them. That is a stressor and I have to turn it off. Though documentries of occult stuff I can watch. Just cant see rituals/hear chanting.

I could if I had to for school or something but they really scary me and I wouldn't watch them for fun. Interesting the voting is exactly 50-50 right now.

I haven't found a movie yet that has scared me. It's a shame because I want that feeling that so many other people describe when they watch a movie.
However, the Hostel movies? those are just plain nasty and gross and should not be viewed by anyone, ever...

Some I can, and I even like some horror games. However there's certain types of gore that I can't deal with. Throws me into a panic attack.
