Years ago I had what could only be described as a fully acted out flashback of something I've never experienced.
I don't remember experiencing it. I just remember the "flashback". Or, was it a hallucination?
What I don't understand is how could I have known what it tasted like? During the "flashback" every sense was over taken and I remember clearly what that sense conveyed. So much so that I needed a bucket during the episode. I've never DONE that terrible thing before in my life. I have no experience of my own to draw from.
I've never asked anyone what that would taste like, no one ever told me, and I certainly didn't read it anywhere. It has been nagging at me so much lately that, 4 years after the episode, I am only just now looking at Google to see if what I experienced was "correct". I'm horrified to find out that it is.
How could this be? How? Why? It doesn't make sense. It would have made more sense to find out via Google that my experience was "wrong" because I had never experienced anything like that before. Or... have I?
