How Did You Sleep Last Night?

Less than 3 hrs of sleep. Running out of options and words. I went to see my GP yesterday. I was surprised yet kind of happy she knew how ptsd works. She noticed my angst position while at the appt.

Last night I had my first fairly decent night's sleep in I don't know how long.....I had some passionflower herb I bought in Mexico at health food store, and made a tea of it and about two hours later while I was on chat here, I found myself nodding off and thought I'd better go with this and take advantage of it. Got seven incredible hours of sleep. Sure I still have sleep deficit but it's amazing how much clearer and calmer I am today and how much better my thinking is. Sleep sure is a wonderful thing! Hope others here are finding ways to get sleep, too.

I am sleeping at night again. So I am pleased with that. Tonight will be the fifth night of sleeping at night. I have been relaxing and going to bed as soon as I am tired. That has been good. I have the background noise of the dvds on and that is so comforting and soothing. I am so pleased to be sleeping normally again.

I often don't sleep that well to be honest with nightmares and things but the other day i had an amazing dream it was about my late dog,she stood there stared at me eyes glowing and tail wagging she then looked up towards the sky so making me look up too,and what i saw was a massive rainbow above our house right above the roof,i woke moments later feeling great like i had had a happy boost and that same day our late dogs picture glowed as the sunlight shone into the house,i took it as some sort of sign! i am still walking on air! it was the tonic i needed.

Slept horrible last night. Woke up in the middle of the night with a headache and an achey body for some reason. I ended up laying there for hours anxious, with intrusive thoughts that I just couldn't control. I kept trying to get a hold of the situation by focusing on my breathing and trying to ground but it would only last for maybe 30 seconds before my mind started racing again.
