How Did You Sleep Last Night?

I slept two hours and then up wide awake, so I am still fighting insomnia. The medication they are giving me for insomnia does not work and it will be a month before I can see my Pdoc for medication management.
 
Took me forever to go to sleep, I had way too much anxiety. I ended up getting out of bed and writing until 3am. Then I just crashed and ended up having a bunch of nightmares. I feel very disassociative today.
 
Uhg. I keep grinding my teeth while sleeping. I don't know if this is what's leading to worsening headaches but I also keep getting those. I also have been having non-stop nightmares for the past few weeks (I usually am a lucid dreamer and can control at least most of my dreams, or make myself wake up), but it hasn't been stopping my desire to sleep, at least.

In better news I finally ordered a new bed - one where the top can rise and lower, because I cannot sleep laying down straight. I've been sleeping on this old beaten-up couch for around 7 years now... it does terrible things to my back. I can't wait for my new bed, sigh.
 
Seem to be slipping into hypersomnia in the last few days and I hate those more than anything else. Maybe my body is getting some sleep but that sleep is never a true respite. I wish that, just for once, sleep could be peaceful rather than be full of turmoil and leave me waking with heart thumping and body damp.

Can feel depression rearing its head too.
