I went to see a new T...and he booked me for recurring appts(i agreed to it). I have decided not to see him anymore. I am not sure how can i convey this to him in a nice manner. Hes nice and all...but i hate the long drive and neighborhood.
I ll have to leave a voicemail. He has no staff and no email. Any suggestions?

I'd personally leave a voicemail because you can keep redoing it if you need to, I'd definitely also explain your reasoning that it's obviously not personal it's just other circumstances making it hard. He'll understand anyway it's he's job to, also there isn't any point in going if that therapist isn't right for you, trust me :)

This happens to therapists all the time. Sometimes it's just not the right fit. You can leave a voicemail - it might help to be clear if it's the distance and not what's happening in your therapy. If you don't want to be contacted then say so.

Recurring appointments are good practice for them to offer as therapy should ideally be at a regular time - they don't mean you have to keep going. You are allowed to change your mind, honestly.

Try something like:

"I wanted to let you know that I'd like to cancel our appointments. I'm finding the distance is too far and the long drive is impacting me more than I thought so I'm going to look for something closer."

If you'd like them to suggest some others you could ask for some referrals.
