Everyone in the family broke contact with me, or at least took a step back from me

@katz, I'm so sorry your family treated you that way.:( I'm actually getting my mind / heart and soul ready to tell my patents about my brothers abusing me when I was growing up. I'm also getting my mind / heart and soul ready in case they don't believe me.:sorry: I can only speak for myself but I'd rather speak the truth and feel free even if that means losing my family. :sour: If they leave me then I never really had them in the first place. I just don't want to live a lie any more; 30 plus years has been long enough for me. It's my turn to be true to myself.:happy: I hope things work or for you. Is this why you hesitate to confront him?

The effect of this stuff on the mind can be very subtle. If he molested you he may have a hold on your mind. Never underestimate the subtle power of grooming and/or molestation.


You do not owe him an explanation for preventing him from destroying your children any more than you should explain to a Pitbull that is mauling your child why you are screaming "STOP!"

Not one minute with any pedophile is a safe minute...EVER.
