In the opening post, I stated "So, I know, that there are many women(and men as well) who have been raped and live in fear of it happening again." ...to acknowledge the fact that males can be victims as well. I agree that it is important to for us to acknowledge that there are male and female perps, male and female victims and that victims can be either children or adults.

interesting that you mention Dr. Hare....he is the one who talked about the "men that deliberately step on a woman's toes" behavior as a non-verbal act of dominance and a boundary violation. He states that it is a warning sign of escalating violations that he has encountered often in interviews with victims.

Thank you for this post. Some of these have happened to me and it was a definite red flag. I got out of there as fast as I could. I know some people will argue and tell you that your tips are wrong, but that's exactly what they are: tips. Do with them what you will. Some of these I never thought of and you've opened my eyes to some things, and I am most appreciative.
