Bravo! Alan! Keep getting the word out. I think in our country, it is becoming more understood. I think because the young troops are thought more highly of than we Viet Nam Vets were. We Nam Vets. were just looked down upon and just wanted to feed off the government. Many of us didn't even admit we were there, just because of the stigma. Now, thankfully, our young folks are being treated immediately and with better science.
Surprizingly, the young troops think highly of us...they say we "blazed the trail" in getting people to admit PTSD existed and getting programs started to treat it. Now, if our VA would step in to the twenty first century and get off their butts.
