I deserve an apology from a lot of the medical community, who decided I was a "psych case" because I continued to have symptoms after my back surgery. Turns out, there is a lot wrong with my spine that they didn't see in their scans, so they decided I was nuts instead of looking further. Now I am not nuts, and my spine is in really bad shape. At least I can get better knowing that the other problems will be addressed. I will work hard at recovery, which for me means not over doing it.

This happened to me for years. Some doctors knew there was a problem, others quickly dismissed my issues and determined I was a head case. They weren't always good about conveying that to me to put it nicely. When I was finally diagnosed, I wanted to go back to all those doctors with my proof and shove it in their face.
